Welcome to the Tremont Turkey Festival
For forty-three years we have been celebrating the start of summer with a variety of family-oriented events and we are proud to continue that tradition.
Our theme this year is A Community in Harmony. We invite you to join us for the festivities and see for yourself why this theme fits Tremont so well.
When you come to the festival, don’t forget to bring your appetite with you! From strawberry shortcakes, to pancakes and sausage on Saturday morning, to our famous grilled turkey, we have plenty of options to offer and you might just want to try them all.
If you overdo the eating part of the festival, work off some calories in the 5k race or maybe you would prefer to join in the bed races. There are plenty of options from which you can choose.
Spend some time enjoying the beautiful park as you stroll through the craft and antique booths, stop by the country store, or watch the numerous performers in the entertainment tent. And don't forget about the Miss Tremont Pageant on Thursday night and the parade on Sunday afternoon. View our Schedule for a complete listing of events.

Park and Ride
Finding a parking space is easy if you take advantage of our free shuttle bus service. Simply head to the high school (on the West edge of town), park in their lot, and ride the shuttle to the park.
Shuttles run every few minutes during the following times:

What's New?
Water Volleyball
The new pool will be the stage for a returning event at the festival. A water volleyball tournament will be held on Saturday afternoon, starting at 2:15 p.m. Visit the Sports page for more details.
Mmm...Smoothies
This year, the Strawberry Shortcake Tent will feature a new treat - Strawberry Smoothies! Now there are two ways to enjoy the delicious taste of those yummy red berries.
Stars of Tomorrow
Watch performances by Tremont youth at the first annual "Tremont Has Talent" talent show on Friday night starting at 5 p.m. It won't be a panel of celebrities selecting the winners — the audience will make those decisions! Details are on the Entertainment page.
No Dogs Allowed
The Tremont Park District ordinances prohibit dogs in the park, so unfortunately you will need to leave Fido at home.
